Terms of service

2. Scope. These terms apply to every order placed on creatifwood.fr by a non-trader natural person. Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms. We may modify them at any time; the version in force on the day of your order applies to it.
3. Products. Products are offered while stocks last. We photograph our products as faithfully as possible; wood is a natural material, so grain and shade vary from piece to piece – that is part of what you are buying. Slight colour differences due to your screen cannot engage our liability.
4. Prices. Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, excluding delivery costs, which are shown at checkout before you confirm your order. The price cannot change once your order is confirmed.
5. Orders. You may order with or without a customer account. The data we record at ordering constitutes proof of the transaction. We confirm every order by email. We reserve the right to suspend an order in the event of a payment incident or an address error, until the problem is resolved.
6. Payment. Payment is due at ordering, by the means offered at checkout (cards via Shopify Payments' secured 3-D Secure processing, PayPal, and any other method shown at checkout).
7. Delivery. See the Shipping policy, which forms part of these terms. Products travel at our risk; risk transfers to you at delivery.
8. Legal guarantee of conformity. For all goods, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L.217-3 to L.217-17 of the French Consumer Code): for 2 years from delivery, we are liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery. During that period you may choose repair or replacement of the product, and, failing that, a price reduction or refund, without having to prove the date of appearance of the defect during the first 24 months (12 months for second-hand goods). You also benefit from the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code), allowing a price reduction or full refund. 9. Returns. See the Return & refund policy, which forms part of these terms (14-day right of withdrawal).
10. Liability. We describe our products as accurately as we can. We are not liable for non-performance attributable to an unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party or to force majeure. Please follow the instructions supplied with the product.
11. Retention of title. Products remain our property until full payment; responsibility for the products transfers to you at delivery.
12. Intellectual property. All elements of this site – designs, photos, texts, logos, and the products' designs themselves – are protected by copyright and remain our exclusive property. Personal, non-commercial use only; any reproduction requires our written consent.
13. Personal data. See the Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
14. Mediation & disputes. These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, contact us first at – we answer and we solve problems. If we fail to find an amicable solution, you may refer free of charge to our consumer mediator: [médiateur name, website, postal address – fill after subscribing]. Failing mediation, the French courts have jurisdiction.
