About this product

Educational wooden counting frame for toddlers with 15 rings 900132 IGROTECO by the manufacturer Igroteco Your child's first counting experience with this 15-ring wooden counting frame! The counting frame is an excellent way to develop a child's intellectual abilities. There is nothing better than a counting frame to give a visual representation of the decimal system. By moving the rings, the child can study the composition of numbers and quickly grasp the principles of addition and subtraction. Playing with the counting frame is in line with the fundamental principles of the Montessori method. Playing with the counting frame enables:
  • the development of logic and thinking
  • training of fine motor skills, sensory perception and visual acuity
  • acquiring the first notions of numbers and a first positive experience of mathematics
  • cultivating determination, patience and consistency in actions
  • solving simple maths examples in a playful way (for children aged 4 and up)
How to play? Toddlers can move the rings with their fingers, discovering colours and the numbers from 1 to 10. The counting frame helps develop the fine motor skills of the hands and makes beautiful natural sounds when the wooden rings are moved quickly from one side to the other. For children aged 2 and up, the game "Reproduce according to the pattern" can be interesting - draw patterns with coloured pencils on a sheet, and the child reproduces them. For children aged 3 to 4, suggest that they solve simple maths problems. The counting frame is made of solid natural wood (not plywood); the rings are painted with certified water-based paints.
