Our story
Some objects turn a house into a home
The map on the wall that gains a new pin after every trip. The puzzle that keeps everyone at the table long after the plates are cleared. Those are the objects we try to make – and have been making since 2019, one family with a shared love of wood and of the things patient hands can create from it.
It started with wooden puzzles. The 2D and 3D world maps, the wine maps, the notebooks and the décor pieces followed, and from the first day the idea has stayed the same: original wooden pieces with real character – sincere objects that tell a story, made to outlast any trend.
Today one team works in two countries: design and making stay in Boryspil, while our team in France looks after the brand, our customers and our retail partners.
Where it started
A French home for Ukrainian craft
Harmandi begins distributing original creative wooden brands from Ukraine to shops across France – the company that would become Creatifwood's home.

The war changes everything for our team and our daily life. We choose to keep the workshop in Boryspil running: every piece made since carries a little more of our story, our stubbornness and our attachment to Ukraine.

Step one
It starts with a sheet of wood
Every Creatifwood piece begins in our workshop in Boryspil, near Kyiv. A design is drawn and redrawn until it feels right – then the laser cuts each piece into its own shape, no two alike. The last few years have not been simple ones for a Ukrainian workshop, and still it keeps working: for us, making beautiful, lasting things is the best possible answer.
Step two
Checked by human hands
A small, skilled and committed team works alongside our family, and we keep every step of the making in our own hands – it is the only way to answer for every piece personally. Sets are counted, checked and packed one by one into a box that is ready to be gifted the moment it arrives – still carrying a faint scent of freshly cut wood.
Step three
From our hands to your home
All our products are stocked in France and handed to the carrier within 24 hours on working days. Home delivery in France takes 2–4 working days and is free from €40 – so a birthday two Saturdays away is never in danger.

At festivals and fairs across France
Creatifwood is regularly on the road – at fairs and festivals all over France, and every winter at the Christmas markets of many French towns. If you have ever picked up a wooden map piece at a market stand and turned it over in your fingers, you know why we keep going: some things simply have to be touched.
