Size XL: two metres of map, 3D only
200 × 140 cm, cut in all six 3D finishes – Light, Amber, Dark, Chocolate, Graphite and Multicolor. The 2D maps stop at L; there is no flat map at this size.
How big is it on the wall?
Two metres wide and 1.4 m tall, about 4.5 kg of layered birch plywood spread across many pieces, so the wall carries the weight in small amounts rather than at one hook. Allow around 240 × 180 cm of clear wall. Mark the outline with masking tape before ordering; it takes two minutes and settles the question.
Which room suits it?
A feature wall with nothing else on it, an office, a showroom, a restaurant, the long wall of a loft. At this scale the map is the room's one picture, and it needs the space around it as much as the space it covers.
How is it mounted?
Piece by piece on the double-sided tape supplied, with a paper positioning template to set the first continents. It takes longer than the smaller sizes simply because there are more pieces. Lettering in English or French, chosen at checkout. For a smaller wall, the L size gives the same six finishes at 150 × 105 cm.
