About this product
A long balcony, and no single right answer
A hundred and thirty-six notched pieces, and the balcony is the point: it runs the full length of one side rather than sitting over the door, which gives the finished house a horizontal shape unlike anything else in the range.
It is also the most flexible of the three house sets here, for a structural reason rather than a marketing one. The balcony section can be built as drawn, extended along a second wall, or left off entirely, and the roof pieces work either way.
Where it sits between the others
At 136 pieces it is roughly double the House with Garage and two-thirds of the Cottage. Recommended from 6, which is where the instruction booklet stops being something an adult reads aloud and becomes something the child follows alone.
Specifications
Untreated hardwood, no varnish or paint. Beams and half-beams with notched ends, square section, from 24 to 180 mm. Illustrated booklet included. Ships at 1.1 kg in a 28 × 23 × 7 cm box.
