About this product
Half-circles that balance
Twenty-four coloured semicircles in graded sizes. They lie flat as a mosaic, and they also stand on edge and stack – which is where the balancing comes in, since an arch resting on another arch has one contact point.
The set does two unrelated things with the same pieces, and the second is considerably harder than the first.
Flat and standing
Laid flat, the arches nest into circles, waves and rainbows, following the cards. Stood on edge they build bridges and towers that need a steady hand and fall when it wavers.
Children discover the standing version themselves, usually within minutes of the flat one.
