About this product
The same bucket, on four rings
The tipped bucket and its fall of leaves from the two-ring Crea'Leaves, on four rings instead. Same warm brown birch, same drawing: a bucket on its side, a splash of water, and maple and oak leaves tumbling down the cover with drops between them, under the word SKETCHBOOK and the maker's mark.
What the extra rings change
Four rings hold the block along more of its edge than two, so a full block hangs straight, a page turns without twisting on its holes, and the two boards stay square to each other. The trade-off is a wider ring line and a book that closes a shade less flat.
If the sketchbook lives in a bag and gets used hard, take the four. If it stays on a desk and gets opened often, either works.
And the paper changes
This is the version with 200 g/m² watercolour paper, heavy enough to take a wash, where the two-ring Crea'Leaves carries 90 g/m² drawing paper for dry media. If you paint, this is the one.
How it is built
Two birch boards held by the rings alone, no hinge and no spine, so the book opens completely flat and folds back on itself. 50 blank sheets, A5, about 560 g. When the block is full, open the rings and fit a new one; the boards carry on.
