About this product
Cubes rather than domes
Pale natural wood cut into small cubes and mounted on steel points, supplied in a clear box. Unfinished and unstained, so they sit closest in tone to our Light and Amber maps.
The flat top is the difference. A domed pin catches light as a highlight; a cube catches it as a plane, which reads as a small architectural object rather than as a bead.
Where they suit
Maps in pale finishes, where a gold or red marker would jump forward. Against Light or Amber these almost disappear until you are close, and then they read as intentional rather than as pins.
They also match unfinished wood elsewhere in a room – shelving, frames, a plywood desk – in a way that a stained or painted marker does not.
Beyond the map
Cork boards, plan walls, studio pinboards. The square head grips paper better than a round one, since there is more surface pressing down.

Our craftsmanship
Made by our family, piece by piece
Every creatifwood piece starts as natural wood in our family workshop. We cut, sand and finish each item by hand, check every detail ourselves, and pack it ready to gift. No production lines, no shortcuts – just a small family that loves working with wood, and takes it personally that your piece arrives perfect.
