About this product
Honey stain with a geometric flap
The warmest of the five. The stain sits in the amber range and lets the grain show right through, and the flap carries a geometric engraving – fields of fine diagonal lines meeting at angles, like a folded paper pattern.
The oval side panels are noticeably paler than the body, which is the solid oak showing against the stained birch rather than a decorative choice.
The envelope cut
The flap closes on the diagonal rather than straight across, and its point is capped with a small black leather corner – the one soft material on the outside of the bag. Of the five, only Olivia shares this cut, and she wears it dark and plain where Mia is warm and patterned.
Where it belongs
The warm tone puts this with tan, cream, olive and denim rather than with black. It is the one in this range that reads as daytime.
