Returns

About this product
The dark envelope
Olivia's flap is cut on the diagonal, so the front reads as an envelope rather than as a box, with the point capped in black leather. She shares that cut with Mia alone – and answers it in the opposite key: no engraving, and the darkest finish in the range.
That single diagonal is what makes it the least formal of the five.
Dark, and grey rather than brown
The stain is a deep grey-brown, closer to slate than to walnut, and the grain shows through it in strong parallel bands. It is the coldest finish in this range, and against black and navy it disappears in the right way.
One soft detail
The leather corner on the flap is the only thing on the outside that is not wood or metal. On a body this dark it reads as a shadow until you touch it, which is the kind of detail you buy a wooden bag for.
